Into the Dark

Playing in the dark is such a joy. Even the things that go bump in the night need company. Sometimest it gets lonely on this side of the veil.

I didn’t ask to be here. Or. Let me correct that. I didn’t explicitly ask to be here - in this situation - under these circumstances. Next time, I’ll be more specific in my request for redemption while staring death in the face and pleading for any deal to keep me from burning for all eternity.
